MISTAKES AND DISAPPOINTMENTS OF PIACENZA
In Piacenza Hannes Perk was participoating only in one first bout, that he successfuly lost to his first opponent polish fighter Piotr Valczak. It was a quterfinal match for Hannes. His first mistake during preparing for the competition was, that he entried in weight division up to 86 kg, but on weigh-in he was only 82 kg. Naturally all his opponents were bigger and more powerful than he was. Piotr Valczak was half ahead taller than Hannes, was fighting on long distance and not allowing Hannes to come near, where Hannes didn't want to come too. It was the second mistake of Hannes. Long-handed and long-leged polish fighter easely won the bout by points 3:0. After one week Hannes Perk went to The Mediterranean Championships.

WINS AND LOSSES IN EVIA
June 18-20 on the Mediterranian Championships Hannes was fighting already in the weight 81 kg. He won his first fight with greece fighter Dimitrios Konitis by points 3:0, three times he punched Konitis in knockdown. In final bout he met the italian fighter Alessandro Spinnero and was much more better than him, he have sent the italian fighter in knockdown in the second round and was dominating in the third. The result of the bout was discouraging – 2:1 in favor of Spinnero. President of WAKO Ennio Falsoni (italian) immediately came near the ring and started explaining, why italian fighter "should" win and why the corner judges should put such a desision.
Hannes Perk brought from Greece to his homeland Estonia only silver medal instead of gold.
Hopfuly it will be more luck to him on the European Championships!
