| ESTONIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN KICKBOXING 23.02.2005
February 19-20 in small estonian town Sillamae there was an Estonian Championships in kickboxing in full-contact and low-kickboxing . There were participating all age grupps: cadets, juniors and seniors. All together there were 82 participants from 13 estonian clubs . Estonian championships was like the first step of preparing for international competitions and the first of them will be "ESTOPEN,2005", which will take place at the end of March in Tallinn. Besides of that during the competition there were selected possible kandidates in national kickboxing team. |

| Stubborn struggle for Champion title was held between women in weight division -65 kg . For gold medal were rushing Maria Aleksejeva from "Budo" (Tallinn) and our club fighter Anneli TEREP ("Shaolin" Tallinn). Both fighters sent there opponents in knockout in semi-finals. In quoter-final Anneli Terep knockedc out Jekaterina Vlassoiva from "Budo" club, and in semi-finals - Helerin Margus from club "Tugev Tahe" (Rakvere). In final match Anneli Terep from our club was better than Maria Aleksejeva and won by points 3 : 0. (PICTURES) |

| Among seniors the most hard struggle was in low-kickboxing . Unfortunately in the most solid devision - full-contact - the finals were only in 3 weight-devisions. In the weight -67 kg Enar Karlson (Royal Gym) won Konstantin Luonin (Konkiro), by RSC, by the disqualification of the opponent Aleksanbdr Grigogyev (Konkiro) won Georgy Davydov from "Budo" and Nikita Volossatov (Konkiro) on the 30 second knocked out Priit Poobo from "Riveta". Among cadets (13-15 years young) there was debuting our young fighter Vadim LOOD (-57 kg). He was strongly resisting to the future Estonian Champion Pavel Turapin from "Budo", Vadim lost his quoter-final by points, Turapin won his next match by RSC and was little bit using his strength in finals against his club friend Pavel Belyakov. | Estonian champions in low-kickboxing (seniors): -63,5 kg Jevgeny Golovin (Daido-Juku) -67 kg Gleb Bozko (Garant) -71 kg Jury Delyatinchouk (Grand) -75 kg Vadim Poljakov (Rovesnik) -81 kg Dane Pulbert (Royal Gym) -91 kg Hanno Nuutmann (Garant) +91 kg Andrei Pozdnyakov (Garant) Our Indrek ELLAMAA (-81 kg) was fighting against the future Estonian Champion Dane Pulbert and lost by points. In club list the first place won Tallinn "Budo" 6 - gold, 7 silver and 3 bronse medals. On the second place Tallinn "Garant" club. 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronse medals. On the third place Narva "Konkiro" club. 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronse medals. |
